How to Place the Wii Balance Board

In this article, you'll learn how to properly place the Wii Balance Board.

Important: When using the Wii Balance Board, ensure there is adequate space between the player and any objects or people (at least 3 feet).

Complete these steps

Place the Wii Balance Board directly in front of the TV with the Power Button (blue light) facing away from the TV.
Make sure the Wii Remote can be used within 3 to 10 feet of the sensor bar when standing on the Wii Balance Board.
Make sure the board is on a stable, flat, horizontal surface. Avoid slippery floor surfaces.
Verify that the balance sensors are in direct contact with the floor. If carpet or other material comes in contact with the bottom of the accessory, install the foot extension.
